My Wita (abuelita) told me about this place dozens of times, and how much she loved it there. The staff knew her by name and they welcomed us like her family was their family, these are truly amazing people. The food itself was fantastic, my dad ordered their frijoles charros (something he's been unable to find anywhere else?), and it was perfect.

First time here after they've opened the new building.. the queso excellent... staff super friendly... helped navigate the menu .. she has only been hired for 3 weeks if she had a question she quickly called a coworker... I enjoyed the chips and salsa as I watched the costal Carolina game... then the burrito Verde was unexpectedly delicious... my goodness... I added grilled jalapenos for some extra spice... then to top off the visit the churro mini cake ... its like a churro but a cake with caramel sauce... lol honestly that's how it was described... I didn't know what to expect but my taste buds are thankful... if you've not visited you should added it to your list...

Was one of the last places open on a Sunday night..ordered a thing of chicken, pork and steak street tacos and they were absolutely delish. Let me get as much sauce as I wanted. Super kind the whole time. They were in there dancing when I was leaving at closing so it’s def a good local vibe.

Newly renovated. Went for lunch and prices were great. Had the steak fajitas for 14 (usually 17-20 even for lunch) and they gave a portion that was double what superior grill gives. It does have more of a Tex-mex vibe, but that also means free chips. Better parking than before, but still rather limited.

Simply the best Ceviche I had in the Shreveport area so far, their seafood is also super fresh and delicious, and the staff and management are so friendly that they will make you feel just like home! Mas Palomas Por Favor!

Wow! This place is fantastic! This was our first time going there and the online reviews were spot on. We had enchiladas and tamales and they were great. Service is fast. Everyone is friendly.

My husband and I ate here this past Saturday. First of all, the new building is beautiful & the patio is adorable too. I got the Quesabirria tacos and let me just say ... Absolutely delightful! I've only had birrias a handful of times, but the ones at El Compadre are hands down the best yet. The meat is so juicy & tender, dressed with onions and cilantro that is so easy to bite into. The tortilla was soft and crispy on the edges, which gave it a not too much, but minor crunch. The broth you dip them in had the most acidic & flavorful tomato deliciousness that just explodes your taste buds when all combined! To say I was impressed, is an understatement. I'm not one to always finish my plate, but I destroyed every last bite of them special little pockets full of love & greatness. I'm already craving that plate again. Congratulations on the new building & exceeding my expectations
